I gave myself permission (with her encouragement of course) to launch my Longarm Quilting Business. From that conversation I left excited, pumped and believing that I could actually use my skills in machine quilting to run my own business quilting for others.

I drove home and excitedly told my husband, “Well, Angela said I should do it, so I guess I’m gonna do it.. I’m going to start a Longarm Quilting Business!”. If you know anything about Angela Walters, you know that she is an amazing encourager and teacher - in our conversation over a cup of coffee, she helped me believe in my skill and take the next step to my dream job.

The Quilters Business Club exists to do the same thing for its members. I know that starting a new business can be scary, I know that sometimes things don’t go as planned and I know that no matter where you are in the process, it helps to have a friend cheering you on.
