True custom quilting usually involves the use of many different free motion quilting designs, and even the addition of ruler work. Pairing the two is truly my favorite type of quilting.

Ruler Work
Ruler work has been used in and around this star block
Some Quilts scream for straight lines or ruler work. Ruler work is one of my favorite quilting methods! This type of quilting is more involved (requires slower quilting) & takes a little longer.
